How do engagements work?
Most engagements take one of three shapes. A fixed-scope project for a defined deliverable and timeline, like a marketing site, launch page, or e-commerce build. A launch plus retainer, where we ship the initial build and then stay on for ongoing iteration. Or an extended partnership, where we act as your senior design and development team over the long run. We'll recommend the right fit on our intro call.
How do you price projects?
Every project is scoped individually. We give you a specific number after a short intro call where we understand what you're trying to accomplish. No templated packages and no surprise change orders.
How long does a typical project take?
It depends on scope and complexity. Focused builds and feature additions come in faster, larger custom applications run longer. You get a specific timeline once we have scoped the work on our intro call.
Do you do both design and development?
Both, and that's the point. The designers and engineers work together on every project, so there's no handoff gap between a Figma file and what actually ships.
Can you help with marketing after launch?
Yes. Launch is the start, not the finish. Beyond design and development, we can handle ongoing marketing like SEO, performance, and optimization, so the site keeps compounding after it ships.
Can you work on our existing site or application?
Yes. Most engagements are additions to or rebuilds of existing sites and applications, whether that's a marketing site or a product. We're comfortable in unfamiliar codebases and stacks, and spend the first week getting oriented before we ship.
Who owns the work?
You do, 100%. It lives in your repo. No lock-in, no licensed framework you're stuck with, and no retainer required to keep the lights on.
