Alkali was founded in 2015 because the B2B clients most in need of senior web work weren’t getting it. The market was crowded with agencies that oversold and underdelivered, and with individual consultants who couldn’t support clients long-term. The space in between, senior enough to handle the work, committed enough to stay, was empty.
That’s the space Alkali was built for, and what the team is still built around: partnership with clients over years, not engagements. Doing the job the way it should have been done the first time. Being there when the next thing comes up instead of moving on.
Ten years later, Alkali is still doing the same work for the same kind of client. B2B companies, enterprise brands, and agencies who need a development partner they can trust with the things that matter: their reputation, their timelines, and the work their own team builds on.
The thesis hasn’t changed. The practice has sharpened.
