Chattr is an AI-powered recruiting platform helping restaurants and hourly-hire-heavy businesses streamline the hiring process. Their marketing site was the first thing hiring partners saw when evaluating the platform, and it wasn’t representing them well. We redesigned and rebuilt it from the ground up, stripped out the image-based rendering that was dragging it down, and added animation that reinforced the brand without slowing things down.
A 97% faster site for an AI recruiting platform.
Chattr came to us with a slow, image-heavy site that didn’t match the sophistication of their product. We rebuilt it top to bottom, with real HTML, considered animation, and a load time that finally matched the pace of their business.
Chattr’s site had a problem most teams recognize: it worked, but it wasn’t serving the company anymore. Pages loaded slowly. Large portions of the content were rendered as images rather than real HTML, which meant search engines couldn’t read them and the site couldn’t respond properly across screen sizes. The existing design had moments worth keeping, but the overall impression didn’t match where the company actually was.
What Chattr needed was a site that reflected the sophistication of their product and the speed of their ambition. A marketing site is often the first thing a prospective hiring partner sees, and Chattr’s wasn’t doing the work it needed to do.
What we built.
A ground-up rebuild.
We rebuilt the site on the same framework Chattr’s engineering team was already using for their platform. The images that had been doing the work of content became real HTML and CSS. Search engines could finally index what the site said. The pages responded properly across every screen size. Everything that had been slowing the site down was gone.

Animation that reinforced the brand.
The design called for motion that felt intentional rather than decorative. We built animations around Chattr’s branding elements, small moments of movement that reinforced the company’s identity as visitors scrolled. The goal was motion that the eye registered without getting distracted, the kind of thing that makes a site feel considered without calling attention to itself.
Performance that matched the product.
Every element on the site was optimized with speed in mind. Image formats, asset loading, code splitting, caching, all of it tuned to make the site feel fast the moment a visitor arrived. When the rebuild shipped, overall load time had dropped by 97%. The site finally performed at the speed Chattr’s business was moving.

The new site launched at a fraction of the old site’s load time, with content that was fully indexable, fully responsive, and designed to scale as the company grew. Load time dropped by 97%. Search engines could finally read the pages that had previously been locked inside images. The site stopped being a drag on the business and started doing work for it.
